190 new panels are being added providing an additional 86 kW of power at peak. This is roughly 855m² of area.

This adds to the existing 333 panels which are already on WBS, giving 83 kW of power at peak. This is roughly 833m³ of area.

Combined, that is 169 kW of peak power which is enough to simultaneously charge 24 Electric cars using standard wall mounted chargers. The Cryfield Village Car Park recently had 20 such chargers installed.

All of the solar panels (existing and new) are estimated to generate 145,183 KWh of electricity each year (weather permitting of course!). This is equivalent to:

• About 50 average UK households for the full year, or
• About 15% of the total annual electricity usage for the whole WBS building, or
• Enough energy to drive an electric car the equivalent distance to Moon and back.
