Volunteering Opportunities

Warwick's hugely successful End of Year Donation DriveLink opens in a new window is back, and we’re looking for staff and student volunteers to help collect and sort donated items including food, small electricals, kitchenware, books and bedding. Help to reduce waste at Warwick while supporting local charities.

Volunteering Roles and Time Commitment

Sorter

What? Sorting at Storage Hub

Where? TBC

When? Friday mornings 14th, 21st & 28th June. Wednesday afternoon 26th June. Saturday 29th June. Week of 8th July TBC.

Estimated time commitment: 8-14 hours spread over 3-5 weeks (mainly 2 hour sessions)

Sweeper

What? Work as part of a small team to either sweep residences for belongings that have been left behind or sort items outside residences

Where? Residences - you’ll get an exact location based on your team allocation

When? Saturday 29th June 9am – 4pm (estimated finish time!)

Estimated time commitment: 7 hours
