Warwick SU Green Week 2026 Draws over 400 Attendances Across 22 Events
The University of Warwick’s SU Green Week 2026 brought energy and collaboration to campus, offering a diverse programme of sustainability-focused activity. Across the week, the programme featured 22 events, generating more than 400 attendances from students, staff, and wider community members.
This year’s SU Green Week showcased the breadth of sustainability engagement happening across the University, with events designed to inspire practical action, spark meaningful conversations, and strengthen partnerships on and beyond campus. The SU Green Week was organised by the Sustainability Forum Link opens in a new windowin the SU, Link opens in a new windowmany events were delivered in collaboration with more than 20 student societies, showcasing the strength of Warwick’s student-led sustainability engagement; with support from the university’s Energy & Sustainability Team, showcasing the strong collective effort behind sustainability engagement at Warwick.
Highlights included:
- Green Quiz at the Chaplaincy
- Talks and speaker events, including sessions on climate justice, sustainability challenges in the global south, and sustainable market transformation
- Community stalls including Friends of the Earth, Wilder Organisers, and Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
- Hands-on workshops such as willow weaving, badge‑making, repair/upcycling sessions, and zine making
- Activities like treasure hunts, and BioBlitz events
- Campus Energy Tour and Litter Pick organised by Energy and Sustainability TeamLink opens in a new window
