Our 60th Anniversary

Our 60th Anniversary

60 years and beyond. Making a better world together

In our 60th year, we’re honouring our past, celebrating our present, and looking ahead to our future. And we’re inviting our community to celebrate with us!

There are plenty of events yet to come and lots of opportunities to get involved. Tickets are on sale now for the homecoming residency of In Pursuit of Repetitive Beats. Late September sees the installation of a legacy mural art piece as part of the Retreat to Create project, with top UK artist David Speed. Later on in the year you will be able to explore our Poetry Trail: A Science Art Collision.

One celebration you won't want to miss is our Global Illuminations Light Festival in November, as we reaffirm our commitment to creating a better world, together.

Celebrate with us

We invite you to join us in celebrating our anniversary by taking part in a series of special events on campus and in our local community.

As well as those events already listed, we will be adding more as we go into our 60th year in 2025.
