ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING UPDATE – AUGUST 2024
The tender for an EV parking solution has been awarded to both replace and install additional units to Zest, who will operate the charging units on competitive market rates.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I report an issue with the current electric vehicle charging unit?
Please submit the location of the car park, unit number and description of the issue to the Transport & Mobility team at TransportMobility@warwick.ac.uk to ensure we are able to monitor the progress of the repairs whilst the programme of works in underway.
Zest chargers may be reported to the supplier directly within the app or by calling 03335774245.
When will the new electric vehicle charging solution be implemented?
Zest is currently onsite implementing the rollout of charging units. Local signage will be posted on the units to indicate the dates when replacement works will begin. Current works in progress are:

Will there be any costs for charging my car?
Yes, there will be charges for the electricity per kWh at competitive market rates. Rates will be displayed within the app or Zest websiteLink opens in a new window.

Restricted access
Once the rollout to replace our infrastructure with Zest units is complete, all users will be able to charge their vehicles using the Zest app. However in the meantime we have different operates based on their location. Please click on each tab to find out more about the options we have available.
New Zest chargers are being rolled out and replacing all existing EV charging infrastructure.
To use these units you’ll need to:

Download the app on the App StoreLink opens in a new window or Google PlayLink opens in a new window to create an account and register your details.
2.
Scan the QR code on the unit using the app.
3.
Use the app to start your charging session.
