Research
The University of Warwick is renowned for research that is internationally leading, impactful and provocative. The SSCP places impact and purpose firmly at the core of our research, forging a collaborative environment that balances critical discovery and application; an environment that's open, empowering, and where our researchers can freely cross research areas and methodologies.
Through a step-change in collaborative research culture and professional support, across all aspects of the research process and for all career stages, we will generate a competitive yet supportive environment in which all researchers can evolve and thrive. The SSCP promotes a research culture that is open, empowering, and egalitarian. This will enable the Faculty of Social Sciences to continue to be recognised as one of the best places to pursue a research career within UK Higher Education.
The Research Workstream seeks to maximise growth in research opportunities and activity through enhanced grant capture and real-world social and economic impact at all scales - from influencing globally to contributing nationally, regionally, and locally.
