STEM

Building a better world together

We believe that, in a changing world, education, innovation and scientific discovery hold the key to finding solutions to some of society’s biggest challenges. So, we are reimagining the future of STEM at Warwick.

We are cementing our reputation as a global powerhouse for STEM education and research, ensuring we continue to be disruptive in our thinking, and bold in our ambitions.

We are creating new, innovative facilities that unlock collaboration and co-creation; spaces where groundbreaking science will flourish. This investment will enable us to expand our pioneering partnerships and strengthen our collaborations, creating an inclusive, inspiring, interdisciplinary environment for our students, staff and visitors.

Science and Engineering Precinct

We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to invest in and reimagine our STEM research and teaching spaces. Through the STEM Connect Programme, we are creating a £425m Science and Engineering Precinct, providing a state-of-the-art environment that combines disciplinary excellence with interdisciplinary working.

Education

We are developing new sector-leading interdisciplinary courses, focusing on subjects that matter now, and those that will be vitally important for our world in the coming years. These courses will develop the changemakers, academics and researchers of tomorrow.

Research

World-leading thinkers from across our STEM departments will pursue innovation-led research with real-world impact. They will lead the way in developing and sharing unique insights into global challenges and their potential solutions.

Partnerships

We will build on the University’s reputation and track record of developing pioneering partnerships in STEM with the public and private sector. This will enable us to deliver new collaborations and innovation-led research that will help transform society.
