As part of Warwickshire Country Council's Brighter Futures initiative, the University of Warwick will be hosting a programme focussed on how esports and video games can be used to teach essential skills for jobs in a variety of sectors. Our young people will experience esports and see the opportunities that it can hold.

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.

The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The Esports Futures Programme is already under-way so sign up ASAP so that your young people don't miss out! 

All young people that take part in the project only need to commit to a single day (10am till 2:30pm) and need to fill in a UK Government Right to Work form to ensure they are eligible. Please select the dates that work best for your group.

To take part, you must have a Warwickshire postcode (either currently living or home address), be unemployed or economically inactive, and between the ages of 16 and 24. Signing up below does not guarantee your participation, you will be contacted by jiawen.li.5@Warwick.ac.uk to confirm your participation. You can also get in touch via that email to ask any questions!
