Warwick student wins Women in Games global award
Women in Games has announced the winners of their annual global awards, celebrating women’s achievements in gaming and esports.
Anisah “Geomancy” Munim, currently in her fourth year of studying French and German at the University of Warwick, won the award for “University or College Student Portfolio” with 5 other recipients from other universities and colleges. Responding to the news on Twitter, Anisah thanked the grassroots esports community for helping her grow within the scene whilst still being a student, with special thanks given to the NUEL (National University Esports League) and Warwick Esports. Her portfolio included her current role as the product manager for NUEL, as well as previous roles as team manager for pro team.
