Fusion Fest takes University of Warwick Esports to the next level

It’s the start of a new era for games and esports at the University of Warwick as Warwick Esports celebrates its move to central campus.

The centre’s new location at Fusion in the Rootes Building includes state-of-the-art esports equipment and games, and a bar offering food and drink. The centre is open to students & staff as well as the public and community groups.

Gen.G partners with the University of Warwick Esports Centre for winter camp

South Korean esports organisation Gen.G has partnered with the University of Warwick Esports Centre to run an ‘Esports Winter Camp’ for students.

The organisation, which first announced the partnership on its Chinese social media channels, said the joint venture would take place between January 26th – February 5th 2024.

University of Warwick are the inaugural 2022/23 Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland Leaderboard Champions

The results for the 2022/23 Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland Leader board are in, with results from both Winter 2022 and Spring 2023 contributing to the total points accumulated by a university. With a staggering 3393.28 points, University of Warwick are the inaugural Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland Leaderboard Champions!

Offering interactive sessions, networking and insights on March 22nd-23rd, 2023 at the University’s Esports Centre.
