using esports to support a diverse range of careers

As part of Warwickshire Country Council's Brighter Futures initiative, the University of Warwick will be hosting a programme focussed on how esports and video games can be used to teach essential skills for jobs in a variety of sectors for young people aged 16 - 24 in Warwickshire.

We are looking for experts in a variety of traditional and modern sectors to join our participants for 1-2 hours on our delivery days to share insight into their world. Whether you are an accounting professor, hospitality expert, esports coach, or anything in between, your input could change someone's life!

This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.

The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021/22. This aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment. For more information, visit the official government site
