There will be an Induction Meeting on the Monday of the first week at 11.30 in Humanities 1.48 to introduce you to English and Theatre at Warwick. This is ESSENTIAL and compulsory, and will contain vital information about your time at Warwick and the first week's schedule.
Dr Wallace McDowell will come along to that meeting to introduce you to the first year Theatre and Performance modules and welcome you to the Theatre department.
In week 1 you'll also have a first seminar for British Theatre since 1939, your core English and Theatre course.
Monday group: This week and this week only your seminar will be on Friday 11am-1pm -- room to be announced.
Tuesday groups: Your seminars will be at the normal time this week.
More information about the term schedules and 'BT39' (as this course is known for short) will be given at the Induction meeting.
In particular you'll hear about your Year 1 choices. Please follow the links to year 1 of the English and Theatre Studies degree.
On Thursday evening, we will all go to see The Complete Deaths at the Warwick Arts Centre -- this come highly recommended, not least by Dr Michael Meeuwis from the department, who doesn't give praise lightly...
