Assessment

• Students who attend for a full academic year follow the same deadlines and methods of assessment as those following the English degree courses. Click back to the main assessment page here.
• Part-year students are required to submit essays totalling 3,000 words per module for each term they attend. If you are here for term 1 you should write on a topic related to Romantic poetry; if you are here for term 2 you should write on a topic related to Victorian poetry. The topic should be confirmed with either your module tutor, or the module convenor, Emma Mason.
• Essays for the autumn and spring terms will be due by 12 noon of the last Tuesday of each term. Essays for the summer term will be due by 12 noon on Tuesday of Week 7.
