Secondary Material Term 2
This is a zip file with critical material on it for most of the fiction we are looking at in Term 2. You'll receive some other supplementary material as hard copy in class. You are not required to read this material prior to coming to class, but please try to engage with it when/after you read the primary material.* It will help you understand issues/contexts. Some of these, as you will see are extensive notes on certain authors compiled by Graeme. Use these as kind of online lectures if you wish, but be careful when citing secondary material to get the bibliographic detail right.
* Though it'd be helpful if you could try to read the Cairns Craig essay on 'Devolving the Scottish Novel' (in the Craig/Brannigan pdf) for the beginning of the new term.
