Subject:Update and reporting self-isolation

Dear all,

I hope you're all as well as can be at the moment. I know some of you have been ill with covid, and others are self-isolating. I'm so sorry this is happening and wish all affected a speedy recovery. Please do get in touch with the department at any time if you need our support.

This email is a reminder that if any of you are self-isolating to let us know via this form:

https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/english/currentstudents/reportselfisolation

You're also welcome to let your personal tutor know, or email me directly. We'd really appreciate having this information as it helps us make decisions about teaching: if more than 50% of an on-campus group are ill or self-isolating we will, following University guidelines, move that seminar online so more of you can benefit from it.

You might also have seen in the news that Coventry has moved into tier 2 of the Government's alert system. Due to the geographical location of the University, this means some of campus is now in tier 2, and some of it now in tier 1. The University have asked us to continue teaching using our 'blended' model, so we'll keep to that for now, but do look out for announcements in case anything changes.

Do take care of yourselves and each other. I hope you're all holding up.

Best wishes,

Emma
