Dear all,
I hope everyone is hanging in there and that your term is going well so far. The current lockdown is bearing down on all of us, and I respect that the impact is especially challenging and difficult for students. As always, do reach out to us for help—as many times and as often as you need—we do understand and are keen to support you. You will have received several updates from the University recently, but I thought I’d summarise the key updates here:
For UG and PGT students, the University have now published details (and video guides) of the Covid Mitigation Package of Education Measures:https://warwick.ac.uk/students/teaching_learning_assessments_spring2021/ug_mitigation_package
We’ve summarised how this will affect you on our Teaching pages: for UG:https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/english/currentstudents/undergraduate/teaching2020-21/; and for PG:https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/english/currentstudents/postgraduate/teaching2020-21/
The University have also summarised information about working on campus:https://warwick.ac.uk/coronavirus/intranet/working-on-campusand library access:https://warwick.ac.uk/services/library/library-re-start
If you are on campus and would like to meet up with another student in English for a socially distanced walk, please do email me directly (confirming that you’re happy for me to share your email with other students on campus) and I will put you in touch.
Take care of yourselves and keep in touch.
Best wishes,
Emma
