Module Selection

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ BEFORE MAKING YOUR APPLICATION FOR MODULES.

This form is for visiting students based in the Department of English & Comparative Literary Studies whilst at Warwick University to make module choices.

Please state how many CATS you wish to take in the English Department and then rank your choices; please list them in order from 1 to 10, in order of preference below. We will endeavour to allocate you to your highest preference modules where possible for the amount of CATS required.

Students based in other departments may also use this form to apply for up to 30 CATS of modules with us, but please note that we give priority to students based in this department when allocating modules and will not be able to tell you if we can allocate you a place until week 1 of term.

Please note: 2 CATS is equivalent to 1 ECTS so a 15-CAT module is worth 7.5 ECTS and a 30-CAT module is worth 15 ECTS.

We will email you to confirm which module(s) we have allocated you to.

You will be registered for your module(s) in eVision by the English Department at the start of term and contacted about your timetable.

Which terms are you here (required)

Students based in English may take modules from other departments - you will need to contact the relevant department to check availability.

Students who are from other departments may take up to 30 CATS in the English Department if spaces are available but we will only be able to allocate these to you in week 1. Spaces on modules can only be granted in consultation directly with the English Department.

Students who register for modules via eVision without department permission will be removed.

Rank your choices - please select accordingly - listing your choices in order of preference from 1 - 10.

Please ensure you select 10 choices - so select 1 for your first preference, 2 against your second preference until you have selected 10 options. Please ensure you complete this correctly as incorrect submissions will be returned for amendment and this delay may affect your chances of getting your preferred choices.

We will then ensure we allocate you to the required amount of CATS in our department as requested.
