WiP: Fabiola Creed (Warwick): Changing Representations of Sunbed Consumption during the Late Twentieth Century

Faby Creed (3rd year doctoral candidate) will be discussing her research and circulating the paper: 'From ‘revolutionary emergence’ (for health) to ‘excessive persistence’ (causing death): What was the changing representation of sunbed consumption during the late twentieth century? And how did mass media (advertising/general coverage) and medical research influence this? (England, late 1970s to late 1990s)'.

The paper will be circulated for you to read in advance of the session.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided.
