Simon Bell Simon Bell is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Art and Design at Coventry University, where he teaches on both BA and MA courses, specializing in contextual studies, dissertations and reflective practice across all disciplines in the subject area; his main studio teaching is publishing related. He has worked in book publishing, where he was involved in design, photography, illustration, production, editing and writing, and he has won four National Book League awards, as well as the Teaching Excellence Award at Coventry University in 2001. Simon has a PGDipLTHE, and is currently studying for an MA in English Literature. As Writer-in-Residence for the Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital Project Simon Bell will document project activities in text. His work will be displayed on the project website and at the event in August 2006. |
