CHM Becomes CHMST: Launch Event Celebration

We are delighted to announce the official launch of the Centre for the History of Medicine (CHM) as the newly named Centre for the History of Medicine, Science, and Technology (CHMST). This milestone marks an exciting chapter in our work, reflecting the centre’s expanded focus on the intersections of medicine, science, and technology throughout history.

The launch event was celebrated with a gathering of colleagues, including academics, postgraduate researchers (PGTs and PGRs), and associates on the 15th of October 2025. The occasion featured the unveiling of the CHMST branding, followed by refreshments, providing a wonderful opportunity for the community to connect, share ideas, and reflect on the centre’s achievements and future direction.

We are excited about the opportunities this rebranding brings for collaboration, research, and engagement across disciplines, and we look forward to welcoming new partners and participants to join us in our ongoing journey.
