Congratulations to Rebecca Williams who has been awarded funding from the AHRC Library of Congress Scholarship Competition. She will spend three months in Washington next summer.
Dr Angela Davis Awarded BA Postdoctoral Fellowship
Congratulations to Dr Angela Davis who has been awarded a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship. Her research will be on Pre-School Childcare 1939-1979

Centre for the History of Medicine hosts a meeting attended by Sir Mark Walport
Sir Mark Walport, Director of the Wellcome Trust, visited the University of Warwick on the 24th of February 2010. The Centre for the History of Medicine hosted a meeting at which presentations were given on current research along with Classics and other departments across the University. Sir Walport went on to talk about the Wellcome Trusts ‘Strategic Plan’, details of which can be found here
