Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital Project is launched on 1 December 2005
Working together with University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, the Centre for the History of Medicine has launched its project about Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital, which will be relocating to a new site in 2006.
Professor Jan Goldstein - ''Hysteria Complicated by Ecstasy: Freud, Foucault, and the Case of an Early Nineteenth-Century Savoyard Peasant Girl'
Jan Goldstein, Professor of History at the University of Chicago, will lecture on her forthcoming study (and English translation) of a manuscript case history of "hysteria complicated by ecstasy" in a Savoyard peasant girl in the 1820s.
Centre hosts Outstanding Young Researcher
The Centre for the History of Medicine is pleased to announce that Mr Norwood Andrews will be in residence for the Autumn term as one of the University's first Outstanding Young Researcher Fellows.
