Sharon Young
Currently a fulltime MPhil/PhD student, Sharon Young is researching women’s landscape poetry of the late seventeenth and early eighteenth century.
Her other research interests include: John Milton; Aemilia Lanyer; ecocritical approaches to early modern texts and early modern women’s manuscripts.
Publications: “Exilic identity in Jane Barker’s poetic (re)creations of landscape”, Worcester Papers, 6 (2008), 8-18.
She is the Postgraduate Representative for the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies Committee.
