International Conference~For Cristoforo Landino: Towards the Sixth Centenary of His Birth

As the 600th anniversary of Cristoforo Landino's birth (1425–1498) draws near, the University of Innsbruck organizes an international conference dedicated to his life and work For Cristoforo Landino: Towards the Sixth Centenary of His Birth, 15-16 December 2023, Innsbruck, Palais Claudiana.

The aim is to provide an overview of the studies conducted so far on Landino, as well as to present recent ongoing research on unpublished materials related to his activity, thus identifying new directions for future studies on this key figure of Italian Humanism.

The conference has been organized by the University of Innsbruck in cooperation with the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Neo-Latin Studies (Innsbruck), the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance (University of Warwick) and the University of Verona.
