Dr Belfiore is involved in a successful consortium bid for development funding under the AHRC’s ‘Connected Communities’ scheme
Dr Belfiore is part of an interdisciplinary consortium of UK-based scholars, practitioners and policy makers, co-ordinated by Dr Andrew Miles of CRESC (University of Manchester), which was successful in securing an AHRC development funding grant under the ‘Connected Communities’ scheme. The development funding will allow the research team to work towards a large-scale bid for a project entitled “Understanding everyday participation – Articulating cultural values”.
Eleonora Belfiore joins jury of Cultural Policy Research Award (CPRA)
Eleonora Belfiore has joined this year the international jury of the Cultural Policy Research Award (CPRA), an initiative of the European Cultural Foundation, in collaboration with the European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres (ENCATC).
The award, introduced in 2004, aims to encourage young researchers in the field of cultural policy studies, by promoting “research projects which shed light on contemporary European cultural issues and challenges by analyzing them and offering policy solutions”.
Dr Belfiore invited to write preface for new book on museums and new technologies
Dr Belfiore has had the pleasure to write a preface for a book by Elisa Bonacini, Italian archaeologist and doctoral candidate at the University of Catania, Italy. The book entitled Il museo contemporaneo. Fra tradizione, marketing e nuove tecnologie (The contemporary museum: Between tradition, marketing and new technologies) is published by Roman based academic publisher Aracne.
