Amphibious Screens - Seminar Series 2022

The Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies has secured research development funding to create and host four interntional research seminars to build a transnational network of research seminars of collaboration between researchers from the UK, USA, Finland, Iceland and Italy. Researchers of film, television and screen cultures and environmental sciences will discuss with industry professionals and regional environmental sectors the subject of sustainable screen production in water-based locations.

CMPS Research Seminar: Creative Control

On Wednesday the 19th May at 6pm the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies (in association with the Productivity and Futures of Work GRP) will be hosting Michael Siciliano, discussing his new book, Creative Control: The Ambivalence of Work in the Culture Industries (Columbia University Press, 2021).

Three Minute Thesis (3MT)

Can you present your thesis in just 3 Minutes? Are you up for the challenge? You have three minutes, one static slide, no props, and no materials – just you! If you get through the first round we will train and support you so that you are ready for a live Warwick final. The winner of this will get put forward to the regional finals – and who knows maybe the National Final.
