You will benefit from bespoke careers help from our School, including an annual alumni event, as well as the University's central careers services. We facilitate collaborations with local, national and international companies, providing work experience, placement opportunities and internships.
World-class dance-circus company Motionhouse, international multi-arts company Dash Arts, the BE (Birmingham European) Festival, solo performer Tim Crouch and Warwick Arts Centre have staged productions, offered internships and run workshops for our students.
You will also develop a range of transferable skills that are highly valued in the creative industries and public and private sectors: advanced literary and communication skills; the ability to present persuasive, coherent written and oral arguments; an aptitude for conceptual thinking; the capacity to process complex information in a structured and systematic way; sophisticated problem-solving and project management skills; excellent team working and interpersonal skills and confidence in public settings.
