Professor Jim Davis is Visiting Professor in Theatre at the University of Palermo in Sicily
Professor Jim Davis has just spent four weeks as Visiting Professor in Theatre at the University of Palermo in Sicily. While there he taught a module on English Melodrama to undergraduate Theatre students, for whom he also be conducted a workshop on melodrama acting at the Teatro Massimo. He also gave a paper at a conference on ‘Decoding and interpreting Declamation in Drama and Opera’ organised by the University of Palermo.
