Session Best Practice

This virtual Conference is conducted under the framework of the International project ‘Waterproofing Data: Engaging Stakeholders in Sustainable Flood Risk Governance for Urban Resilience.’ Waterproofing Data investigates the governance of water-related risks, with a focus on social and cultural aspects of data practices. The main objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from the UK and Brazil to share their expertise in flood risk management and exchange their diverse experiences. The format of this virtual workshop is divided into an initial introduction to the Waterproofing Data Project, individual presentations, which will be conducted in pairs and will be followed by a short round of discussions and group discussions facilitated by the organisers, that will lead to short group presentations.
