This practical workshop equips you with the essentials of start-up finance. From budgeting and forecasting to cash flow management and understanding key financial statements, you’ll build the confidence to make informed financial decisions and prepare your venture for future funding.

This workshop is also open to Warwick Innovation District businesses — please register in the same way.

Simon Finley, Associate Director at Warwick Enterprise

Simon is the Associate Director of Warwick Enterprise and a qualified accountant with over 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance lecturing, including eight years at Kaplan supporting aspiring accountants through their professional qualifications. He advises early-stage entrepreneurs on financial management and strategy, covering budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and identifying potential revenue streams. He is passionate about helping Warwick student and graduate founders build strong financial foundations and make informed business decisions during the critical early years of their ventures.
