ESRC DTC Conference 2013

The Warwick DTC is pleased to announce the 2nd Midlands DTC Conference for Birmingham-Nottingham-Warwick Doctoral researchers. Registration and the call for papers is now closed.

The conference will be hosted by the University at Warwick on Thursday 27th June 2013 under the overarching thematic motion:

Not being able to operate in both quantitative and qualitative methods translates into functional illiteracy."

Following the success of the 1st Midlands DTC Student Conference, the 2013 Conference has an explicitly interdisciplinary and muti-methodological character. We therefore encourage participants from across all of the disciplines represented in our Training Centres to submit an abstract.

The Conference will provide an opportunity for you to find out more about the research being undertaken across the three Training Centres, both within and outside of your own discipline, as well as opportunities to share your research experiences and meet like-minded researchers.

Each presentation will last 15 minutes and will be run in groups of three with 15 minutes for Q&A at the end of the session. A poster session will also be running during the wine reception.

The day of student presentations will be followed by a panel discussion from Warwick Faculty around our overarching theme and will be topped off with a wine reception and Conference dinner.

** Registration, abstract and poster submission is now closed **
