Skills Development for History Students

The aim of the project was to further the teaching and assessment of skills (both general and subject-specific) for History students at the University of Warwick. The project's objectives included: the provision of a virtual learning environment (VLE) which will integrate skills development into the Department's teaching and learning; a link with the Skills Development officer of the University Careers Service to integrate generic skills for graduates with the subject-specific skills of History students; the development of a strategy for assessing students use of skills.
