Module Design for Historians

On 14 May 2010, the History Subject Centre held a full-day workshop on the design and management of modules in HE History. The event was held at the University of Manchester and hosted a variety of speakers from throughout the UK.

Topics included Understanding the UK History BA Degree, Developing First-Year Survey Modules, Creating Special Subject and Honours Modules, Understanding QAA Benchmarks and Learning Outcomes, Navigating Departmental Approval Forms and Administration and Engaging with Blended and Distance Learning.
