Teaching International Students
The ProjectIn January 2009 the UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA), with funding from the Prime Minister's Initiative (PMI), received approval to establish a national initiative for Teaching International Students (TIS). Following a period of sector-wide consultation UKCISA awarded funding to the Higher Education Academy to deliver the TIS project by July 2011. The Project TeamThe Teaching International Students project is being directed by Dr Janette Ryan and Jude Carroll. There are other members of the team based in the Academy's Subject Centres and at the York office, including Melodee Beals of the History Subject Centre. |
