Resources in the Teaching of Modern Chinese History
This project aims to collect and collate examples of best practice in teaching modern Chinese history at UK universities, particularly those institutions at which the teaching of this subject is fairly young and at which large amounts of resources are not readily available.
The project included a one-day workshop in September 2010, at which ideas amd experiences were discussed.
This has led on to the development of an open-access guide/website on locating and using resources for modern Chinese history. The Chinese History Teaching Network can be found at : http://www.chinese-history-network.group.shef.ac.uk/
Linking in with this project, Jeremy Taylor is establishing the Chinese History Teaching Network. For more details go to the Subject Centre's Networks page.
