Students joined one of two new undergraduate degrees pairing the study of social science disciplines with Quantitative Methods training. The BA in Politics, International Studies and Quantitative Methods and the BA in Sociology and Quantitative Methods both welcomed their first intake of students in September 2014. A number of other new students, joining degree programmes in the Departments of Politics and International Studies and Sociology, also chose to take the first year Quantitative Methods modules as optional modules.
