A member of the Warwick Q-Step team, Dr Vincenzo Bove, has been successful as Co-I on a Swedish Research Council bid entitled “Who keeps the peace and why does it matter? ”. The project asks how mission composition affects peacekeeping effectiveness across four core dimensions of heterogeneity - military culture, identity, interests, and capabilities of the units deployed. The project will run for 3 years and will be conducted in collaboration with Chiara Ruffa (PI, Uppsala University), and Andrea Ruggeri (Co-I, Oxford University). The total value of the project is 6.2 million SEK (£560000), the highest amount of funding of all political science projects.
