Advancing Climate Research: Join the From Baku to Belém Webinar & Workshop on Climate Finance

The NEXUS Seminar Series kicks off with a pre-event webinar as we lay the groundwork for the high-level workshop on climate finance, From Baku to Belém: The Climate Finance Roadmap to COP 30, scheduled for 4th March 2025 at Warwick Business School London.

This webinar session will provide a strong thematic foundation for the From Baku to Belém workshop by linking the "Baku to Belém Roadmap" to the issues of equity, solidarity, and governance reforms crucial to achieving COP30 goals.
Speakers will introduce key multilateral governance and finance mechanisms like MDB reform and Article 6 carbon markets, offering insights into their relevance to the global climate finance landscape and interdisciplinary decarbonisation efforts.

The Sustainability Spotlight has organised an interdisciplinary workshop Developing Systems Thinking Skills for Interdisciplinary Sustainability Research

NERC Opening up the Environment funding call

WESIC and the Sustainability Spotlight are organising a workshop to bring together researchers interested in the NERC Opening up the EnvironmentLink opens in a new window call to discuss ideas, help establish collaborations/ partnerships and support applicants. The deadline for grant submission is 01 April 2025.

This event will take place on Friday 17th January from 1pm - 3pm, in-person in the Oculus room OC1.02 and online via Teams (link provided after registration).
