About me:

Hi! My name is Assmaa Ahmed. I am currently a Science Research and Communication student at the University of Warwick. I am also the MSc SSRC representative in the chemistry department.

I have a bachelor's degree in biomedical science.

My current research is surrounding gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and gestational weight gain (GWG). Analysing and understanding the associations between GDM and GWG and related pregnancy outcomes.

I am also particularly fond of communicating science and adapting it to different audiences.
