Profile

I joined Warwick in September 2017 to pursue an MSc degree in Analytical Sciences.

Projects

Team Project: Analysis of Toxic Compounds in Makeup
HPLC, GC-MS & ICP-OES was employed to assess the quantity of harmful heavy metals and preservatives in both higher and lower-end makeup samples. A conjecture that more expensive samples would be less contaminated was disproved as significant amounts of Arsenic and Lead were observed.

Research Project: Polymer Analysis
My ongoing research project is aimed at the systematic characterisation of cyclic peptides-polymer conjugates self-assemblies. A universal methodology for their analysis is being accessed and subsequently optimal experimental conditions shall be determined. The characterisation techniques used are HPLC; GPC and SLS.
