NMR Spectroscopy

Welcome to the Solution State NMR Facility Website

If you are new here, please read this page and you will find important information and answers to some of the questions you may have.

Current users can find useful updates.

The NMR instruments are located in A109, A110, A111B and MAS 1.08

For use of Open Access NMR spectrometers, please follow this link

Open Access Instruments (A110, A111B)

If you wish to use the following instruments, you have to apply for a training session run by the NMR staff before access to these instruments will be granted.

Bruker Avance III HD 500 MHz Instrument is set up to run majority of 13C experiments

AV500

MAS 1.08

Bruker Avance 500 MHz

Instruments are able to run wide range of 1-Dimensional and 2-Dimensional experiments

(including variable temperature, non-standard experiments, unusual nuclei, NOE/GOESY type experiments etc.)

AV600

MAS 1.08

Bruker Avance III 600 MHz

NEO700

MAS 1.08

Bruker Avance NEO 700 MHz

equipped with TCI (including the 19F capability) and TXO cryoprpobes

(1H, 13C, 15N, 19F 1-Dimensional and 2-Dimensional experiments and triple resonance experiments for proteins)

If you publish results using data obtained on this spectrometer with the updated console please include the following sentence in your acknowledgement:

"The renewal of the 700 MHz NMR console (Avance NEO), TCI and TXO cryoprobes was funded by BBSRC (Grant No. BB/W020297/1) and University of Warwick"
