ECR Career Development online workshops

PSoC will be hosting a series of workshops delivered by Sandy Sparks focused on Career Development. The schedule is as follows:

  • Career planning – Developing a career roadmap – 18th of June, 11 am (1h).
  • Career planning – Gap analysis and how to get that development opportunity– 2nd of July, 11 am (1h).
  • Career planning – How to evidence your skills and knowledge– 16th of July, 11 am (1h)

While the three webinars will follow a common thread, each will also be stand alone and attendance to previous/future webinars will not be required to participate. Slides from each webinars will be available to access afterwards.

The idea is for these workshops to be more personalised and interactive than the previous webinar by the RSC. As such, we will ask participants to do a little homework before hand to help you think about where you want your career to go in the future. This will be emailed to those registering to attend the webinar in the week prior to the event

The first session “Career planning – developing a career roadmap” is designed to develop an awareness of what is important when considering future career development, including reflection on key drivers, values, skills, interests, and knowledge, and how these impact on career choice. It will be an opportunity for you to consider what you want out of a career and what you need to do to achieve it.

If you wish to attend, please register here by no later than 12:00 on Monday 15th June.
