The Group is based in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Warwick and is co-led by Prof Greg Challis and Dr Lona Alkhalaf.

Prof Challis also leads a group in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Monash University in Australia.

The main research focus of these two groups is the chemistry and biology of natural products e.g. antibiotics, anticancer agents, pesticides, siderophores, hormones, and other bioactive metabolites. Click the 'Research Interests' link above for further details.
