Callum Crockford

I am a third-year PhD student in the Warwick Electrochemistry and Interfaces Group, under the supervision of Professor Julie Macpherson. My research couples electrochemical techniques with electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy (EPR) to detect electrochemically-generated radicals, thus providing an insight into the electrochemical degradation processes used to cleanly and efficiently remove contaminants from waterways.

Beyond my PhD studies, I am an Advisory Editor for the Chemistry Student Guides series (published by the Royal Society of Chemistry), and manage all UK student reviewers for this series.

I am also very involved with the chemistry postgraduate community at Warwick, representing our interests on the Postgraduate Student-Staff Liaison Committee and leading events, such as the monthly Chemistry Postgraduate Games Night.
