Single Walled Carbon Nanotube (SWNT) Probes and Devices

One of the most promising materials for the success of nanotechnology is without doubt carbon nanotubes. For the past few years, Warwick Interfaces and Electrochemistry in collaboration with Warwick Physics has had an active research focus on the synthesis, study, and application of single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs). The SWNTs are grown by catalysed chemical vapour deposition (cCVD) in the Chemistry Department, and are studied by TEM, FE-SEM, micro-Raman, and a wide variety of AFM techniques.
