Silicon Carbide Network Conference 2026
We are pleased to announce that the inaugural UK SiC Network Conference 2026 will take place on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September 2026 at the University of Warwick.
The Strategic Importance of SiC: Silicon Carbide is a critical enabler for the future of high-efficiency power electronics, directly underpinning the performance of electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, and the power infrastructure required for AI data centres.
Uniting the UK SiC Ecosystem: For the first time, we are convening the entire UK Silicon Carbide community—spanning world-leading academic research, device manufacturing, equipment suppliers, module developers, and end-user OEMs.
Our Mission: This conference serves as a definitive national platform to articulate a shared vision for SiC in the UK. By connecting stakeholders from across the supply chain, we aim to:
- Showcase UK Capabilities: Demonstrate the growing depth and maturity of the UK SiC industry.
- Innovation Pipeline: Demonstrate the innovative technologies being developed in UK companies and Universities.
- Accelerate Growth: Stimulate technical and commercial collaborations that smooth the path from research to scale-up.
