4th year students conduct a Group Project. Teams consist of mixed discipline students selected from across the School of Engineering's Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Computer Systems engineering streams. MEng students all obtain a common general engineering background, selecting a specialisation or systems engineering stream only from their 3rd year. The 4th year MEng projects are supported, whenever possible, by PhD students, many of whom are WUSAT alumni.

3rd year students can conduct an Individual Project. Occasionally, as management/teaching resources allow, we coordinate with academic staff across the School of Engineering to target key areas of research. This can be triggered directly from a current WUSAT 4th year project need, or in response to a need from one of our Partners.
