Today Dr Elena Riva who leads our Water and Environmental Management module will collect her Butterworth Memorial Teaching Award

Elena has also been awarded the Warwick Award for Teaching and Learning (WATE) award, which recognises staff who have made a difference in learning and teaching and reward outstanding, inspirational teachers.

Elena was awarded for

• Stimulating students' curiosity and interest in ways that inspire a commitment to learning and enhance their learning experience
• Imaginative use of resources
• Recognising and actively supporting the full diversity of student learning needs
• Demonstrating impact and engagement beyond her immediate academic role
• Contributing to the development of colleagues
• Contributing to wider initiatives to facilitate student learning
