Industry Partners
VESI, in collaboration with the international industrial partners listed below, will exploit the range of power electronics and electrical machines expertise and facilities across the 10 universities, through 6 research theme work packages on: semiconductors, design tools, packaging, motors, converters, and passives.
The 3 technology demonstrators will build on the outcomes of the 6 research themes and account for approximately 20% of the project’s budget. The demonstrators are vital to the project as they will provide a physical realisation of the research outputs and it is where most of the industrial interaction will occur.
Involvement from our industrial partners will be key, both in informing the ultimate course of the demonstrator activity and also in resourcing the build and evaluating the outputs.
