Infant Feeding/Relaxation Room
The Infant Feeding/Relaxation Room in the Zeeman Building is available to all University staff and students, as well as any visitors should they need it. The room was put together jointly by the departments of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science.
The main purpose of the room is to allow people who need to feed their baby or express and store milk in a private, calm environment to do exactly that. However, the room is also available as a relaxation space to anyone who wants to take some time out of their office or shared space.
Inside you’ll find clean and comfortable seating, as well as power outlets to charge your devices, a fridge to store expressed milk and a baby changing table. We’ve also left a notebook in the room and would appreciate anyone using the space to take a few moments to write some feedback about using the room – this can be anonymous but will help us ensure that what we offer in the room is what those who are using it actually want and need.
The room is located at C0.15, on the ground floor of the Zeeman Building. A 3D tour of the room is available.Link opens in a new window Anyone unfamiliar with the location can find it on the interactive campus mapLink opens in a new window. Bookings are made below in one-hour blocks, although you can book for longer than one hour if you need to.
The room has comfortable seating and a baby-changing table.
There is also a fridge for storing expressed milk.
